Chondroitin sulfate has been isolated for the first time in 1960. Its popularity for treating arthritis increased rapidly after 1997, when Theodorakis published “The Arthritis Cure”, in which he affirmed that the regeneration of cartilaginous tissues is possible thanks to chondroitin sulfate or glucosamine.

Active Constituents
Chondroitin sulfate is a sulfated glycosaminoglycan, four types chondroitin sulfate have been identified: type A chondroitin-4-sulfate, type C chondroitin-6-sulfate, type D chondroitin-2, 6-sulfate, type E chondroitin-4, 6-sulfate.
